Darrell Allison is president, Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina (PEFNC).
Darrell was honored as an Education Reformer to Watch by the Walton Family Foundation in 2013. This award recognizes individuals who create and advocate for high-quality educational choices for parents. As a reward, Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina received a $10,000 grant to advance high-performing traditional, public charter and private schools in North Carolina. He was also honored as ‘A Diversity Champion’ by Partners for Developing Futures, a national nonprofit social venture investment fund.
A former White House intern, Darrell graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina Central University and received his juris doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
